These terms explain how Black Cat Automotive LLC (“Black Cat Automotive,” “I”) provides mobile automotive service. They summarize the policies on this website. By requesting an estimate, booking an appointment or paying a deposit, you’re agreeing to them.

Estimates

Requesting an estimate is free. I’ll contact you the way you prefer, by text or email, to review your request and put together an estimate. Nothing is booked or started until you approve the estimate. Parts and applicable supplies are additional to labor. Labor estimates are based on vehicle-specific repair times, not necessarily the actual time spent. If additional repairs are needed, I’ll estimate them separately for your approval before doing the work.

Scheduling and deposits

After you approve your estimate, we’ll agree on a date and time, and I’ll send a payment link for your deposit. Your appointment is secured once your deposit is processed, and any required parts supplied by Black Cat Automotive are ordered.

• When Black Cat Automotive supplies the parts, only the parts cost is prepaid.
• If you supply your own parts, the first hour of labor ($100) is prepaid and nonrefundable.

Cancellations and rescheduling

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment may receive a refund for eligible prepaid parts, except for special-order or nonreturnable parts.
• Cancellations within 24 hours and missed appointments are nonrefundable.
• If I need to postpone your appointment, you may reschedule or receive a refund without penalty.

Parts

After you approve your estimate, I can source and bring the parts and materials your repair needs. Your VIN is required when I supply the parts. Customer-supplied parts may be accepted when arranged in advance. Customer-supplied parts do not include a parts warranty.

Where I work

Service is performed at an approved home or workplace location with a safe, level work area and enough room to complete the service. I serve Jackson and the communities within about an hour of it.

Work I don’t do

I don’t offer these as mobile services:

• Engine and transmission replacements, tires, alignments and diesel repairs
• Bodywork and paint, and stripped-thread repairs
• Work that is billed through insurance
• Work on modified or classic vehicles

Payments

Payments are accepted through Square, Cash App, PayPal or cash. Checks are not accepted. A 2.6% surcharge is added to in-person credit card payments.

Military and veteran discount

Veterans and active-duty service members receive 10% off labor. Proof of service is required at your appointment (DD-214, military or VA ID, or a veteran driver’s license). The discount does not apply to diagnostic fees.
